Adolescence is a time of rapid growth, and posture can quickly change as teens grow taller, spend more time on devices, and participate in sports. A postural assessment for ages 13–16 is a structured, non-invasive evaluation that looks at alignment of the head, shoulders, spine, hips, and feet to identify imbalances or strain patterns. This assessment helps detect early signs of rounded shoulders, forward head posture, uneven hips, or movement compensations.
Postural imbalances may lead to discomfort or injury. By understanding how a teen’s body is aligned and moving, we can create personalized recommendations for stretching, strengthening, and body awareness to support healthy development, improve athletic performance, and reduce pain.
The goal is not just to “fix” posture, but to empower teens with the tools and awareness they need to move confidently and comfortably as they grow.
90 Minute Session
After identifying any biomechanical or postural issues that can be helped by balancing the soft tissue structures, we make a plan for therapy. Follow-Up sessions are 60 Minutes and this pricing is available to clients up to age 16.

AFYA is an engaging, age-specific workshop designed to help kids and teens understand how their bodies work — and how to care for them. Hosted in age brackets to match developmental stages, each session breaks down muscles, joints, posture, and movement patterns in a way that’s fun, practical, and easy to understand. Young athletes will learn how common sports movements affect their bodies, why warm-ups and recovery matter, how to recognize early signs of strain.
Through hands-on activities and movement demonstrations, participants gain body awareness, performance insight, and confidence in their physical abilities. Can be tailored to educate for a specific sport or activity.
Whether they’re just starting out or competing at a higher level, this workshop empowers young athletes to train smarter, move better, and stay strong throughout their growing years.
