Studio Policies

At our beautiful new location, we have our own private entrance, waiting lobby and restroom that are all separate from those of medical patients.  Please observe the following to help us maintain a healthy and smoothly-running experience for all clients. 

Don't show up sick.

If you wake up stuffy or feeling like something is "brewing," please call and cancel.  You will not be penalized.  When you show up sick, you put the therapists and the entire clientele at risk. We understand that viral illness is everywhere; public spaces, doorknobs...we just don't want it here! Because we spend a lot of time with you in close contact with your body, please give us the respect of disclosing your health status.  

Viral symptoms include low-grade fever, nasal congestion, coughing, sneezing, sore throat, malaise and unexplained fatigue.  We can no longer accept "allergies" as a reason  for symptoms of this nature.  If you arrive presenting any of these symptoms, you will be denied service and rescheduled for another day.  Also, please cancel if you have members of your immediate household who are battling illness.  

No Early Birds.

Please do not arrive more than ten minutes ahead of your appointment time.  We strive to create a personalized, welcoming atmosphere for each client and do not want you to feel rushed.  We don't want to feel rushed either.  Your time here is sacred to us, and we want you to walk into a space that feels like it's "just for you." We also like to maintain healthy break times for our therapists so that they can perform their best during your session.  You won't miss session time if you get caught in traffic, so drive safely and arrive relaxed.  

Skip the Salve & Lotions.

Most topical applications sink into your skin rapidly, but some can linger and be transferrable.  Please be mindful that your therapist's skin could absorb what is on yours.  

Please discontinue the use of any topical salve or lotion 24 hours prior to your session.  The big ones are lidocaine and steroid applications. This also includes CBD, Voltaren, Capsasin and hormone compounds.  Thanks for keeping your therapist safe. 

Parking.

We have designated parking for LOOM™ clients.  When you arrive, please pull through the canopy at the main entrance and look for our sign on the south-side of the Cornerstone Medical complex.  This is where you will enter.  The reserved parking spots that are designated with LOOM™ signs are for you!  Please be mindful that the other reserved spaces are for physicians and emergency vehicles.    

Cancellations & Refunds.

We have never needed to maintain a cancellation policy or charge fees for missed appointments.  We understand that life gets hectic and sometimes we need to cancel.  Sometimes we are sick.  Sometimes we forget about another meeting that was on the books.  Unless this becomes habitual, we just ask that grace be extended in each direction– we shouldn't have to discuss charging you for missed appointments.  Please give us as much notice as possible when you need to cancel or reschedule, and we will do the same. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person, for any ethical reason that we determine.


Traditionally, service packages and gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferrable.  At the same time, we review refund requests in extreme circumstances and these requests are considered on a case-by-case, individual basis.    


Essentially, we want you to feel safe and secure with our business practices and our recommendations and referrals speak to our integrity.
